Orbit Pumps
Industrial Progressive Cavity Pumps. Up to 160m³/h at 80 Bar.
Orbit's Industrial B, D and GW progressive cavity pump ranges deliver pulse-free, gentle positive displacement for viscous, shear-sensitive and fibrous products. Self-priming, reversible, and capable of handling viscosities exceeding 1-million centipoise — pressure is independent of speed, making Orbit the choice for demanding industrial transfer applications.

Orbit Industrial B
For applications requiring material compatibility, flow rate, temperature, solids handling, pressure, rotational speed and environmental considerations. Performance capabilities shown on the performance chart.
Key Specs
- Flow rates up to 160 m³/h
- Pressures up to 80 bar
- Inherently self-priming — excellent suction
- Good solids handling including fibrous materials
- Reversible — pumps in either direction with equal efficiency
- Capacity proportional to speed, pressure independent of speed
- Gentle handling of shear-sensitive products
- Handles viscous products over 1-million centipoise
- Pulse-free flow

Orbit Industrial D
At the pumping system design stage, dedicated gauges, filling/flushing connections, non-return, isolating or pressure relief valves must be provided. A pressure relief valve is recommended on the outlet side due to the positive displacement nature.
Key Specs
- Flow rates up to 160 m³/h
- Pressures up to 80 bar
- Inherently self-priming
- Solid or hollow shaft option
- Handles products with large percentage of entrained gas
- Loose seal/gland arrangement
- Simple and robust construction

Orbit GW Range
High load capability with angular contact thrust bearings in discharge head — pump setting depths up to 300m. Suitable for drive by electric motor (AC/DC/solar), petrol, diesel, tractor or rotary windmill. Rubber stabilisers centralise pump and columns firmly in the borehole to eliminate noise and vibration.
Key Specs
- New FE design — improved performance and efficiency
- Helical rotor technology
- High developed head — irrigation directly from borehole
- Pump setting depths up to 300m
- Stainless steel flexible shaft and bearing pieces
- Rubber stabilisers eliminate noise and vibration
- Drive by electric, solar, diesel, petrol or windmill
- Abrasion-resistant
